Stephen Eldridge has more than 48 years of direct industry experience, having founded Stephen Eldridge & Company, a retirement plan administration firm, in 1972. Early in his career, following the passage of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), Steve quickly distinguished himself as a pioneer in assisting legal and accounting firms interpret and comply with ERISA guidelines. He continued to expand the firm’s resources and scope of services over the years to serve the growing needs of companies and individuals seeking consultative financial and investment guidance both within and outside of the retirement benefits arena.
Steve was educated at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and the University of New Hampshire where he earned his B.S. in civil engineering in 1972 and an M.B.A. in 1974. In 1977 he received an M.S. in taxation from Bentley University. He has been an affiliate of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries since 1978, is a member of the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council and has held securities and insurance licenses since 1972. Currently Steve holds Series 7, 24, 31, 63 and AP securities registrations through LPL Financial, and series 65 through both LPL Financial and EIA.
Steve is recognized by LPL Financial as a top financial advisor named to its Executive Council. This distinction is based on annual production of all registered advisors supported by LPL Financial, and is awarded to less than 1% of the firm’s approximately 14,200 advisors nationwide.
